Business card (double-sided), A4 + US Letter letterhead, and an A4 invoice. Millimetre-exact SVG plus a print-ready HTML sheet.
Start with PRINT-SPECS.md — it carries the trim/bleed geometry, the CMYK and Pantone table,
the production minimums, and the two colour decisions that need making.
Quick facts
- All SVG user units are millimetres. Files open at true size with no scaling step.
- Card 85 × 55 mm trim, 91 × 61 mm with 3 mm bleed, 4 mm safe.
- A4 210 × 297, bleed doc 216 × 303, 20 mm margins.
- Guides live in
<g id="guides">in the*-guides.svgfiles — delete before press. print.htmlprints the card 2-up plus both sheets. Print at 100 %, never “fit to page”.
The two decisions
- Card front colour. The brief’s
#0F172Ahas no usable Pantone match (nearest 289 C, ΔE 5.8). Brand Deepwater#08222Ematches 5395 C at ΔE 1.7. Both files are supplied; Deepwater is recommended for print. - Gradients on a two-ink job. Pulse mint has no spot and is out of CMYK gamut, so the accent strip and letterhead rule become a tint ramp of Spot 2 rather than a hue shift.
Before anything goes to a printer
These are RGB layout masters. SVG has no CMYK. Re-apply colour as CMYK or spot swatches in
Illustrator/InDesign, outline the live text, and export PDF/X-4 with the bleed box. Details in
