Essence · Flowing Trust

SurveyStream

The single source of truth for every SurveyStream production — stationery, web, social, and campaign. Turning everyday opinions into high-integrity, real-time data.

00

How to use this document

One brand, two dialects — always traceable to a rule.

This is a working reference, not a museum piece. Before shipping anything — a business card, a landing page, an ad — check it against the sections below. If a choice can’t be traced to a personality dial (04) or a metaphor (07), it’s decoration, not brand.

01

Essence & Positioning

Flowing Trust.

The brand lives where two truths meet: opinions must move effortlessly (speed, liquidity, reward) and data must be absolutely trustworthy (integrity, verification, real-time fidelity). Most survey brands pick one. Our entire advantage is refusing to.

Integrity is the brand. Flow is the mechanism. Payout and signal are the two visible outputs.

The word doing the strategic work is “Stream”: continuous, live, directional, and alive. Not a pool, not a panel, not a bank — a stream never stops moving. Every visual decision should feel like structure holding a frame while flow moves within it: a rigid container, liquid content.

Positioning statement

SurveyStream turns everyday opinions into high-integrity, real-time data — paying people the moment their voice moves markets.

02

Dual-Audience Matrix

Shared spine, divergent skin.

One visual system, two calibrated dialects. Warm and rewarding for the supply side; rigorous and enterprise-grade for the demand side — without ever fracturing into two brands.

Aggregators & Research Firms

Value Proposition

Get paid fast for opinions you already have. Frictionless earning, near-instant payout, no minimum-threshold games. Visible, quick, fair.

Value Proposition

A live, high-integrity data feed you can build on. Real-time delivery, fraud-screened respondents, verifiable provenance, dashboards you can audit.

Emotional Hook

Empowered momentum. “My voice has value — and I feel it land immediately.” Counters the industry’s default suspicion with felt reliability.

Emotional Hook

Confident control. “I can finally trust the pipe — and stop babysitting the data.” Authority through clarity.

Tone of Voice

Warm, direct, energizing, plainspoken. Second person. Short sentences. Zero jargon.

Tone of Voice

Precise, measured, credible, quietly confident. Evidence over adjectives. Never breathless.

Sounds like

“Answer. Submit. Get paid. That’s the whole thing.”

Sounds like

“Continuous data. Verified sources. Full-stream visibility.”

Bridging rule

Both audiences are sold the same underlying property — integrity of flow — expressed in their own currency. The taker experiences it as “I get paid what I was promised, instantly.” The aggregator experiences it as “every data point is real, sourced, and live.” Never let the two dialects contradict on fairness, speed, or truth.

03

Archetype Blend

The Ruler grounds the magic. The Magician warms the rule.

Order first, wonder second. A trust business must lead with credibility — a brand that feels too magical reads as “too good to be true,” fatal for both a payout promise and a data-quality claim.

Primary

The Ruler

The Precision Engine

Governs the demand side and the brand’s spine. Creates order from chaos, guarantees quality, commands trust at scale. The source of authority, structure, and enterprise credibility — what makes an aggregator wire real budget through the pipe.

Secondary

The Magician

The Transformer

Governs the supply side and the brand’s spark. Turns an ordinary opinion into instant reward, and scattered voices into coherent market signal. The source of wonder, momentum, and “how did that happen so fast” delight.

Design DNA: Structure holds the frame; flow moves within it. A disciplined grid (Ruler) with a streaming, transformative element passing through it (Magician). Reserve the “magic” for one hero moment per surface — never everywhere.
Ruler → structure
Strong baseline grid, stable geometry, generous negative space, deep authoritative anchor color, typography with architectural backbone.
Magician → flow
A single luminous, moving accent that shows state changing — opinion → payout, input → signal. One expressive gradient or motion, held in reserve.
The blend
Rigid container, liquid content. A disciplined grid with a streaming accent threading through it — the literal spine of this document.
04

Personality Guardrails

Five dials, deliberately off-center.

The tuning forks for every artifact. Positions are calibrated on purpose, not centered. Check each design against these before it ships.

ApproachableCorporate
4 / 10

Leans approachable, still credible. Rounded-but-not-soft geometry, open letterforms, friendly line-height. Warmth in the copy, backbone in the layout. Avoid childish rounding or sterile rigidity.

PlayfulPrecise
7 / 10

Precise-leaning, with sanctioned play. Grid-true, data-driven layouts. Play is permitted only in motion and the accent moment — never in structural type or the numbers.

EnergeticCalm
5 / 10

The audience-tunable dial. Taker surfaces push energetic (brighter accent, faster motion). Enterprise surfaces push calm (cooler palette, slower motion, more whitespace). Same system, different tempo.

TransparentGuarded
2 / 10

Aggressively transparent — the ethical core. Show payout status, data provenance, real-time counters. Live indicators, visible timestamps, honest empty states. No dark patterns, ever.

HumanSystematic
5 / 10

The deliberate 50/50 — the whole thesis. Human voices running through a systematic pipe. Pair organic marks (a person, a droplet) with engineered ones (grid, node, signal bar). Never fully humanize, never fully systematize.

05

Color System

A deep anchor, one live current, a spark of warmth.

Deepwater carries authority (Ruler). Stream is the single bold hue — the live, flowing accent (Magician). Payout is warmth held in reserve for supply-side reward moments. Everything else is a considered cool neutral.

Deepwater
#08222E
Primary anchor. Authority grounds, hero bands, dark UI.
Current
#0A6E86
Depth & structure. Links, deep accent, gradient base.
Stream
#10BBD1
The one bold hue. Live accent, CTAs, the flow.
Signal
#5FE3EC
Highlights, “live” glows on dark grounds.
Payout
#F2A23C
Warmth. Supply-side reward moments only — sparingly.
Ink
#0B1B24
Primary text on light grounds.
Mist
#EDF3F4
Page ground. Cool neutral, teal-biased.
Fog
#D3E0E2
Hairlines, borders, dividers.

The 60 / 30 / 10 balance

Roughly 60% neutral ground (Mist / white), 30% anchor (Deepwater / Ink), 10% accent (Stream). Payout never exceeds a spark — if it competes with Stream, the brand fractures. Warmth accents; it does not lead.

Semantic states (kept separate from accent)

UI status color is functional and must never be confused with the brand accent.

Success #2E9E6B Warning #DE8A2A Critical #CF463D
06

Typography

Architectural headlines, a monospaced signal.

Three roles. A tight grotesque carries authority; a clean humanist sans carries the reading; a monospace carries data, labels, and the “live signal” personality — the type equivalent of the data stream.

Display · The Ruler

Grotesque sans — heavy weights, tight tracking (-0.03em)

Flowing Trust, engineered.
HeroSection H2Card H3

Body · The Reading

Humanist sans — regular, 1.65 line-height, ~65ch measure

Opinions are droplets; individually small, collectively a current. Body copy stays comfortable and unhurried — credibility comes from clarity, not density. Set text near sixty-five characters wide and let it breathe.

Utility · The Signal

Monospace — uppercase, wide tracking (0.2em), tabular figures

Live · 12,480 responses · verified

Reserved for eyebrows, data, timestamps, counters, and metadata — the places where the brand shows its work.

08

Voice & Tone

Say what happens. Prove it. Never oversell.

Copy is design material. Active voice, specific over clever, transparency over hype — the same rules that govern the visuals govern the words.

Do WRITE THIS WAY

  • Lead with the concrete outcome — “Paid in minutes,” “99.9% verified respondents.”
  • Use plain second person for takers; evidence and metrics for aggregators.
  • Name a control by what it does, then confirm it happened (“Cash out” → “Paid”).
  • Show the live state: counters, timestamps, provenance.
  • Keep sentences short. Let whitespace carry the calm.

Don’t AVOID

  • Hype that reads “too good to be true” — it kills trust on both sides.
  • Jargon or fine-print games in front of survey takers.
  • Breathless, exclamation-heavy tone on enterprise surfaces.
  • Dark patterns, hidden thresholds, or vague error states.
  • Letting warmth (Payout) shout over integrity (Stream).
09

Applications

One system, tuned per surface.

Reference sketches, not final art. Notice the tempo shift: enterprise-facing surfaces stay cool and calm; supply-facing surfaces let Payout warmth and Stream energy come forward.

The one-line test

Does this feel like flowing trust — structured enough for an enterprise buyer, rewarding enough for a survey taker, and honest enough to prove it?

If not traceable to Section 04 or 07 — it’s decoration, not brand.
